Athens Life Sciences intends to set up a dry injections manufacturing unit with a capacity of 15 lakh per annum at Rampur Jattan in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The project is likely to commence in Q1/FY24.

The proposed unit will also produce wet ampoule injection with a capacity of 24 lakh per year; eye and ear drop with a capacity of 15 lakh per year; pellets with a capacity of 36 crore per year, softgel with a capacity of 30 crore per year, and cosmetic with a capacity of 12 lakh per year.

The project will span over 2.04 acres of land and generate employment for about 139 people. In December 2022, the project was approved by the state's single window clearance and monitoring jurisdiction (SLSWC & MA).

As per the information available with Projects Today, Athens Life Sciences is awaiting local approvals for the project.

Athens Life Sciences has scheduled the completion date of the project for December 2023.

Furthermore, the company is yet to finalise the contractor and machinery supplier.
