1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Water Metro jetties to be ready by June

As many as five of the 23 ferries is envisaged in the initial phase of Water Metro project. With this the Rs 747 crore Water Metro project is expected to be readied for operation in June 2022. 
 
A total of three jetties envisaged under the project are ready, while another five are getting ready for completion in June 2022. 
 
The completed jetties are at Vyttila, Kakkanad, and Eloor, while High Court, Bolgatty, Vypeen, Cheranalloor and South Chittoor jetties will be completed in June 2022. 
 
Six other jetties too are nearing completion. Among them, 95 percent of civil works and 60 percent of electrical works are over for Cheranalloor and Chittoor jetties. 
 
The work on jetties in Fort Kochi, Mulavukad, Kadamakudy, Palianthuruth, Kumbalam, Willingdon Island, and Mattancherry are in different stages of progress. 
 
Work on another 11 jetties, including those at Pizhala, Kothad, and Chennur would be tendered. Land for nine others located on government land is expected to be handed over in another month, following which construction will commence. 
 
These include at Moolampilly, Kurungotta, Edakochi, and Netoor. Work on two other jetties is awaiting retender.
