Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) has floated a tender for sewerage network and pumping stations in various newly developed areas of Bhubaneswar city.

The network and stations will be in newly developed areas of Bhubaneswar City (left out area) at Durganagar, Ganeshnagar, Srikhetra Vihar under Package-IX. Similar work will also be carried out in developed areas of the City (left out area) at Kalinga AlIMS Nagar, Sijua, Patrapada, etc K-9 A,B, Bhagabanpur under Package-VII. The packages will be executed on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.

The contracts includes operation and maintenance for a period of five years, and the construction period is 24 months for both packages.

The contract for Package-IX has an estimated cost of Rs 83.36 crore, and that for Package-VII is Rs 72.77 crore.

The last date to submit the bid is 13 May, 2024.
