APCO Infratech, Ramky Infrastructure and GR Infra are in the fray for the UP Gate-Dasna section of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
The three firms have bid for the Rs 2,000 crore contract that starts from Delhi-UP border till Dasna in Uttar Pradesh. The total length of the road is only 19.2 km.
The section involves shifting of electricity lines and Ganga water supply pipelines coming from Upper Ganga Canal to the water plant in Ghaziabad. The road serves as a major link between Delhi-Ghaziabad and several sectors of Noida and Greater Noida West.
NHAI expects to complete the work on the entire expressway by 2018.
