Water Resources Department (WRD), Madhya Pradesh has issued a tender for the construction of the Madia power house under the Bina complex irrigation and multipurpose project on a turnkey basis.
The contract involves comprehensive work including the construction of the powerhouse of 21 MW capacity, along with all ancillary structures - head race channel, Intake structure, bypass channel, weir, stilling basin, draft tube, powerhouse building with sanitation, electrification, and water supply), and switchyard (civil and electro-mechanical works). It also covers the execution and installation of a 132 KV electric line from the nearest MPPGCL substation.
The period of work is 36 months, and the estimated value is Rs 221.31 crore.
The end date for bid submission is 26 May 2025.
