Suzlon Group has secured a wind energy project of about 82 MW from Oyster Green Hybrid One. The order is for 26 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of 3.15 MW rated capacity, and is to be installed at Oyster Green's site at Agar, Madhya Pradesh.
As part of the agreement, Suzlon will execute the project, including erection and commissioning, and is expected to undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services, post commissioning. The electricity generated from this project will target the C&I customer segment, which will enable a stronger penetration of renewable energy (RE) in India.
The Pune-based company is committed to contributing to sustainable green energy to meet net-zero target. The Group boasts 20.7 GW of wind energy capacity installed across 17 countries.
