Surana Solar has been awarded a letter of award (LoA) of solar power developer (SPD) for the supply of 54 MW power. The estimated project cost is Rs 189 crore has been awarded by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution (MSEDCL).
The contract is for solar photovoltaic (PV) power generating stations, and MSEDCL will procure power from the project under Mukhya Mantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 launched for implementation of feeder level solarisation under Component C of PM KUSUM Scheme.
This project will be located in Maharashtra, and is to be executed and commisioned in 12 months from the LoA.
The operation and maintenance period is of 25 years from commercial operation date (COD).
