Sharika Enterprises (SEL), provider of consultancy and project management solutions in the field of power transmission and distribution, has qualified as empaneled system integrator for all networking and communication projects of Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), which are valued up to and above Rs 10 crore.

Power Grid operates throughout India and covers 90 percent of the country's interstate and inter-regional electric power transmission system. It is in the telecom business through its wholly-owned subsidiary, POWERGRID Teleservices, having pan India overhead optic fiber network of more than 1,00,000 km.

In the momentum led by IoT and Smart Infrastructure projects, Sharika has delivered some key projects including a radio and fibre network for Thimphu City, Bhutan for Bhutan Power Corporation and, design and engineering consultancy project for designing the 3,000 km fibre network for BSES Rajdhani Power (BRPL), New Delhi for their enterprise wide communication and networking needs including real time data for SCADA, substations, tele-protection, IT, Surveillance and voice communication needs based on latest Dual Stack MPLS IP & TP technology.
