Servotech Power Systems has secured a major order of 1,800 DC Fast EV chargers from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL). The project valued at 120 crore will involve manufacturing, supplying, installing and strategic deployment of these EV chargers across India, particularly at BPCL petrol pumps in major cities, as part of the BPCL E-drive Project. The move is a crucial step in promoting widespread EV charging infrastructure.

The project entails two charger variants, 60 kW and 120 kW and Servotech anticipates to complete this by the end of 2024. This initiative aims to establish e-mobility touchpoints, improving availability, and facilitate navigation for EV users. Ensuring convenient access to the expanding EV charging network is the overarching goal.

Servotech Power Systems, through this collaboration aims to support India's goals in the e-Mobility sector, bringing the nation closer to becoming an EV-powered nation The partnership focuses on establishing a dynamic EV charging network nationwide.

Servotech, poised to develop a robust EV charging infrastructure has already successfully supplied 4000 EV chargers across India (as of Jan 2024).
