1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

SJVN has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna), to use advanced geological models in SJVN's tunnelling projects.

Among the key outcome of this collaboration will be the development of predictive analytics algorithms. The algorithms, leveraging integrated geotechnical data, will forecast potential risks and provide early warning systems specifically for tunnelling projects. Such proactive measures are expected to substantially mitigate time and cost overruns during project execution.

The partnership aims to pioneer advanced geological models, and harness geotechnical data and 3D geological models which will significantly reducing time and cost overruns in SJVN's tunneling projects. The primary focus of the MoU is to develop cutting-edge methodologies to integrate diverse geotechnical data sources. These comprise geological surveys, borehole data, geophysical measurements and monitoring data from projects of SJVN. This collaboration also aims to study the relationship between overburden and deformation, thereby enhancing the evaluation and design of support systems crucial for such projects.

SJVN and IIT Patna are committed to driving sustainable development and technological excellence through the strategic partnership.
