Reliance Retail is planning to launch a value apparel format to cater to the mass-priced category and thus expand its offerings through a new brand.
The company has initiated discussions to lease 6,000-9,000 sq ft space across malls and high street for the novel brand, for which it plans to open multiple stores.
Reliance Retail, which opened 789 new stores, totalling an area of six mln sq feet in Q3/FY23, will leverage the increased rate of consumption in metro cities and tier-2 cities through this project.
