The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has invited request for proposal (RfP) for the upgradation of Muzaffarpur Railway Station in Bihar.
The project will see an estimated cost of around Rs 400 crore. The upgradation will be done through EPC contract model.
The scope of work will broadly include construction of new station building, 108 mtr wide air plaza over platforms for movement and waiting of departing passengers, provision of second entry and integrating both sides of the city.
The building will include a fire-fighting system and grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems. The project is planned to be completed in a span of three years.
