Pashupati Group, manufacturer of sustainable recycled resins, has signed an agreement with Recykal to help meet the demand from brands and manufacturers. This would help to leverage Recykal’s advanced marketplace to access high-quality material, aligning with the objective of promoting eco-friendly and responsible manufacturing processes.
The Group has four recycling facilities and two packaging facilities with an aggregate processing capacity of three lakh tonne. Specifically, it prevents 10 million polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and two million tonne of polyolefin bottles every day from going to landfills. It exports sustainable recyclates and other value-added products with recycled contents to over 25 countries.
Recykal is a managed marketplace for post-consumer recycled resin (PCR), and the platform would help Pashupati Group’s approach to channelise sustainable materials. The alliance between the two companies would thus promote a sustainable circular economy ecosystem. Recykal would facilitate a consistent flow of recycled materials, driving market sustainability.
