1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Mahindra Group launches university for interdisciplinary learning in Hyderabad

The Mahindra Group has announced the launch of Mahindra University in Hyderabad to drive interdisciplinary learning, integrating the study of science and technology with humanities, ethics, philosophy and design, with the Mahindra Group's Executive Chairman Anand Mahindra as its Chancellor. 
The multi-disciplinary campus spread over 130 acre in Hyderabad, Telangana, will offer Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and PhD courses. 
It will operate as an autonomous university, with its curricula being curated to fully leverage emerging technologies like data science, blockchain and data analytics. 
Mahindra University is part of the Mahindra Educational Institutions (MEI), a not-for-profit subsidiary of Tech Mahindra.
The university is being planned to be a platform to balance education with real-world experience through entrepreneurial projects. 
Apart from US and Europe-based universities, they are actively seeking partnerships with Japanese universities to leverage their expertise in technology and design.
An estimated 4,000 students and over 300-plus faculty members will be in place across various schools at Mahindra University over the next five years. 
As part of the immediate road map, the University will launch the School of Management (2021-22), School of Law (2021-22), Indira Mahindra School of Education (2021-22), School of Media and Liberal Arts (2022-23) and School of Design (2023-24). Mahindra University includes the EcoleCentrale School of Engineering that was set up in 2014. 
The Minerva Fund-Mahindra University Scholarship Program is available to ensure that deserving students have access to quality education.
Moreover, efforts are also being made to drive inclusion in awarding scholarships across the board with special focus on girl students, students from the North-Eastern states, and Jammu & Kashmir regions, and the University is in talks with banks to create education loan products to add to this. 
Mahindra University will also bring the corporate and industrial ecosystems together through its centres of excellence. Mahindra University was notified by the state government of Telangana.
