L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has partnered with Nvidia to develop AI-enabled architectures for medical devices focused on endoscopy, which will enhance the image quality and scalability of products.
The collaboration will leverage the Nvidia Holoscan and Nvidia IGX Orin platforms, which offer the advantages of ultra-low latency in data transfer and superior image processing to support multiple AI-enabled applications.
Specifically, the AI/ML models will help in the detection, identification, and classification of polyps, which are abnormal growths often found during colonoscopies The solution aims to solve industry-wide issues including availability, cost, and dependencies linked to custom and proprietary hardware components, and aid in real-time decision-making.
The platform accelerates the development of AI-powered medical imaging solutions, and is expected to make clinicians more efficient and improving patient outcomes
