Kinetic Green has announced its foray into the business-to-customers (B2C) segment with the unveiling of a three-wheeler for passenger transport. The product, which is to be powered by lithium-ion battery is expected to be introduced in Q4/FY25.
The company, manufacturer of electric two-and-three-wheelers, aims to achieve a revenue of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030, through product introductions and market expansion. By that time, the company expects to manufacture over one million EVs, comprising one lakh three-wheelers and 10 lakh two-wheelers, contributing Rs 3,500 crore and Rs 6,000 crore respectively to the revenue. The balance Rs 500 crore will come from Golf Cart JV.
Recently, the company had raised USD 25 million in Series-A round and set up a new manufacturing plant at Supa in Maharashtra to augment production. It has further plans to raise USD 15 million to invest in R&D and drive market expansion.
Moreover, the company, which has 100 dealers, plans to scale it up to 250 by year-end and announced fast-charging of its commercial three-wheelers in 15 minutes through a tie-up. The company looks to export to markets in South Asia, Africa and Latin America in ensuing years.
