KEC International, an RPG Group company, has won new orders of Rs 1,061 crore across its various businesses. Its transmission & distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, East Asia Pacific and Americas, comprising transmission lines and substation order from a private developer in India, additional order for a transmission line in Malaysia, and supply of towers, hardware and poles in America.

In contracts pertaining to Railways, the business has secured a maiden order for composite gauge conversion works, power supply system for Metro, setting up of power supply system, including receiving substation, high voltage cabling and associated civil works, from Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC).

The cables business has secured orders for supply of power transmission conductors from a leading infrastructure player in India, as well as various types of cables in India and overseas.

The consecutive order wins in these business verticals, have enhanced the company's order book in both domestic and international markets. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major is currently executing infrastructure projects in 30-plus countries and has a footprint in 110+ countries (includes EPC, supply of towers and cables).
