HFCL along with its material subsidiary, HTL has secured a purchase order from a domestic telecom service provider to supply optical fibre cables (OFC).
Under the contract, the company will be responsible to deliver various types of OFC as per customer specifications. The contract with an estimated cost of Rs 82.60 crore is expected to be carried out by November 2023.
The company’s strategic approach of focusing on increased revenue from products, expanding its capacities and tapping into new geographies has led to a subsequent increase in the product revenue share in Q1/FY24.
HFCL, a leading telecom infrastructure developer, has its manufacturing facilities at Solan and Goa, and HTL has plants operational in Chennai and Hosur in Tamil Nadu.
