Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board (GWSSB) has issued a tender for the construction of a water treatment plant (WTP) at Malgam in Junagarh district of the state.

The scope of work entails designing, construction and operation & maintenance (O&M), providing, lowering, laying and jointing various DI/PVC rising main and gravity main pipelines, RCC ESR, RCC sump, pump house, staff quarter, security cabin, chlorination room , chlorination arrangement, compound wall, repairing existing structures, supplying and erecting pumping machinery at various HWs & SHWs.

The O&M of the scheme will be carried out for 10 years under augmentation of Kodinar RWSS-2021, including existing and new structures with a trial run of three months.

The contract is expected to be completed within 24 months with an estimated cost of Rs 105.62 crore.

The due date to submit the bid is 22 February, 2024.
