Industrial automation and energy efficient solution provider, Fuji Electric India, will invest Rs 300-400 crore in the next four years towards an integrated facility.
The plant will be utilised for ramping up production and streamlining its automation and energy operations. Chennai or Pune are under consideration for the proposed site.
Fuji Electric India set up its first automation factory in Chennai at an outlay of Rs 150 crore. It has a capacity to manufacture 20,000 units of AC drives and 10,000 transmitters annually, along with 25,000 PCBs per month. Its facility in Pune is spread over in an area of two lakh sq. ft.
The company is expecting to achieve a year-on-year growth of 35 percent in FY 23 with a targeted revenue of Rs 1,070 crore.
Fuji Electric India is a 100 percent subsidiary of Fuji Electric.
