BTL EPC has secured an order from BHEL to set up an ash handling system for the 5x800 MW Telangana State Power Generation Corporation's (TSPGENCO) super-critical thermal power plant at Yadadri in Nalgonda district of Telangana.
The order entails installation of a bottom ash handling system, economiser ash handling system, coarse ash removal system, dry fly-ash evacuation system through vacuum, and pressure conveying system including high-concentration slurry disposal system (HCSD).
The job value is set at Rs 446 crore.
BTL EPC is the engineering arm of Shrachi Group and its portfolio of commissioned projects include urea handling at HURL Sindri and Barauni with a cost of Rs 157 crore and baggage handling plant valued at Rs 53 crore for KRIBHCO. Projects under execution include BHEL Bangladesh Maitree, complete raw material handling system involving 34 km conveyor at NMDC Nagarnar and complete coal handling system for WBPDCL, Sagardighi.
