Aragen Life Sciences plans to expand its footprint in Telangana with Rs 2,000 crore investment and envisaging an employment potential of 1,500 jobs. The company's five-year expansion plans involve drug discovery, development and manufacturing for the global life sciences industry.
The investment would help the firm boost its existing facility at Mallapur as Hyderabad serves more than 1,000 innovators globally in their efforts to discover and develop new drugs and devices. The announcement paves the way to mark the city's position as a hub for drug discovery and development, providing a boost to the city reputed as a hub for Contract Research Organisations (CROs).
