The power transmission and distribution IC of L&T Construction has received new orders valued over Rs 1,002 crore across various business segments.
The order worth Rs 846 crore is from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company for rural electricity infrastructure in villages of West Bengal under the Backward Region Grant Fund Scheme (BRGF).
On the overseas front, new orders worth of Rs 156 crore has been secured from reputed customers in Qatar for electrical network power quality improvement work including additional orders in ongoing project in Middle East.
Also, the infrastructure IC of L&T Construction has got an order valued at Rs 2,040 crore from an infrastructure developer for a highway project under the NHDP. The project work, to be executed on Engineering, Procurement & Construction basis, involves six laning of the existing road including building railover bridges, under passes, flyovers and viaducts.
