Infrastructure consultancy firm Rudrabhishek Enterprises (REPL) has been appointed as project management consultant (PMC) for Dehradun Smart City project.

The company will design, develop and manage smart city project which will be monitored and controlled by the Dehradun Smart City (DSCL), an SPV for the project. It will assist DSCL in various phases of project implementation including activities such as preparation of DPR, coordination with various appointed consultants, project prioritisation and phasing, implementation roadmap, conducting feasibility study, overall project management, among others.

The Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has awarded the PMC to the company.

Dehradun's area-based development (ABD) envisages retrofitting and redeveloping 875 acre centred on central business district (CBD) of Dehradun and transform into a lighthouse for the city and to showcase it as a smart neighbourhood.

The company is already working as PMC for Varanasi, Kanpur and Indore smart cities. Within Uttarakhand, the company is working on projects related to planning, GIS and infrastructure.
