1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

PM Modi launches over 14,000 projects worth Rs 10 trln in Uttar Pradesh

On 19 February, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched over 14,000 private investment projects valued at Rs 10 trillion in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the ground-breaking ceremony 4.0 (GBC 4.0).

 The GBC 4.0 kitty included projects related to manufacturing, renewable energy, IT & ITeS, food processing, housing, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and education. This initiative marks a significant stride towards developed India and aims to transform the state's landscape. The GBC 4.0 is the follow-up to the UP Global Investors Summit (GIS) held in February 2023, where the state garnered over 25,000 investment intents to tune Rs 40 trillion.

Meanwhile, the launch of these projects is expected to generate nearly 3.4 million jobs in the state across different sectors. The majority of the projects, about 52 percent, are located in Western UP, followed by 29 percent in Eastern UP, 14 percent in Central UP, and five percent in Bundelkhand. In addition, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham temple Sambhal.

PM Modi also emphasised the necessity of connecting agriculture with markets to bolster the rural economy. PM Modi highlighted the rising popularity of millet as a superfood and encouraged investment in this segment, advocating partnerships between entrepreneurs and farmers. PM listed electric vehicles (EV) and solar power as the future growth potential sectors in the country, especially Uttar Pradesh.
