National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) has floated tender for widening of roads pertaining to Simen Chapori to Nagabang Gamsuk (Package-2), and Tamenglong to Mahur section (NH-137) (Package-8) in Assam on EPC mode under NH(O)-NE.
The road works under Package-2 comprise widening to four-lane with paved shoulder from km 27.70 (Simen Chapori) to km 55.00 (Nagabang Gamsuk) village in Assam.
The project cost including utility shifting is Rs. 420.74 crore and entails a construction timeline of 30 months.
The scope of work extends to widening and upgradation to two lanes from Tamenglong to Mahur (NH-137) from km 116.48 near Hangrum to km 136.50 near Hejaichak (Package-8). The project cost inclusive of utility shifting is Rs 539.81 crore. The construction period is 24 months.
The maintenance activities for both packages will extend to 60 months, from the date of completion of the project.
The last date for bid submission for both is 13 March, 2023.
