Building materials manufacturer Aparna Enterprises would invest Rs 150 crore in 2023-24 to expand its varied operations in tiles, ready-mix concrete (RMC), and aluminium businesses.
Of the proposed investment, about Rs 100 crore will be utilised for establishing a uPVC production facility at Rudraram near Hyderabad. The additional investment will be geared towards augmenting monthly production of uPVC profiles by 70 percent to 1,200 tonne from 700 tonne. Furthermore, the capacity of window production would see an increase by 1.5 times to 50,000 sq. mtrs. from the present capacity of 20,000 sq. mtrs.
The new uPVC facility and the expansion of its tiles, RMC, and aluminium portfolio will enable the company to cater to the evolving needs of its customers while deepening its market presence. Overall, it is targeting a revenue of Rs 2,100 crore by the end of this financial year.
The move is led by the growth in the building materials industry has been propelled by urbanisation, infrastructure development, and the demand for real estate. Further, as the sector is likely to grow at 8-12 percent over the next five years.
Aparna Enterprises has launched its RMC business in Mumbai, commencing operations in July 2023. The company plans to strengthen its Alteza business (aluminium doors & windows) with a wider dealership network in Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Pune, and in states such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
