  Tribeca-Trump_Expert Speak_ProjectsToday

We are in discussions with various local real estate players and are hopeful to announce something in the near future. Our initial focus is on major metro regions of Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad as well as select markets such as Goa and others where there is demand for super luxury products. We are looking for opportunities in luxury residential, hotels, mixed use and golf course spaces.

Question_ProjectsTodayThe proposal of Rs 25 lakh home loan getting a total tax deduction of Rs 2.5 lakh on interest payments announced in the Union Budget 2013-14. Will this affect the plans of the company?

No, this doesn’t affect our plans as we are looking for luxury projects.

Question_ProjectsTodayAre there any existing projects of Trump in India? If any, specify with details.

The first Trump branded project was recently launched in Pune with Panchshil Realty. Panchshil is one of the finest developers in Pune and in India and the project is beautifully designed and is a great offering to the Pune luxury market.

Question_ProjectsTodayAs per your point of view what are the positive and negative sides of the Union Budget 2013-14 which can affect the real estate sector?

A step in the right direction, the Union budget’s 2013 impetus on an additional deduction of `1 lakh for people taking a home loan on their first home during the period 2013-2014, encourages the first time home buyers to invest into the real estate sector. The Finance Minister also seeks to set up an urban housing bank with a `2000 crore allocation under the National Housing Bank & a `6000 crore allocation for the Rural Housing Fund shall also seek to bring in support for the growth of real estate sector. However, the Budget did not emphasize much on the luxury projects in the real estate sector.

Question_ProjectsTodayHow is Trump diversifying itself from other international real estate players that have ventured into India?

The Trump Organization plans to bring the best of its global standards to the Indian real estate sector by lending its expertise and licensing its brand to luxury residential, hotel, mixed-use and golf course projects in India. In addition to bring its brand, the Trump team gets involved in all aspects of the project from design to construction to sales and marketing and bringing its three decades of experience to the table.
